The Baltimore Floatilla is an annual 5-mile paddling event in Baltimore’s iconic Inner Harbor to support the Healthy Harbor Initiative.
This year, paddlers will “rock their boats” as Baltimore-based rock band, Thrillkiller, performs live from a floating stage aboard Mr. Trash Wheel. Thrillkiller will lead participants in the world’s largest kayak-based performance of Queen’s “We Will Rock You”. Together we will keep the Harbor Queen!
Registration for the Baltimore Floatilla includes a safe, fun and supervised paddle managed by Ultimate Watersports, an event t-shirt, and a boxed lunch picnic at Canton Waterfront Park. Participants can bring their own boats or reserve on-site kayaks and standup paddleboards with Ultimate Watersports for an additional fee during registration.
Registration:
Early Bird: $35 (April 12 - May 5th)
General: $40 (May 6th – June 2nd)
10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 8, 2023
First, and most importantly, the Baltimore Floatilla is still on. Waterfront Partnership is aware of the air quality impacts from the Canadian wildfires, and we are monitoring the situation closely. The current forecast shows the smoke moving out of the area Friday with much improved conditions expected by Saturday. If conditions change, we will notify participants via email no later than 6:00 A.M. on Saturday morning.
