The Floatilla is an annual 5-mile paddling event in Baltimoreās iconic Inner Harbor.
Shiver me timbers! This yearās Floatilla theme is Treasure Hunt! Paddlers will be given a treasure map that will include environmental and historic locations in the Inner Harbor. Participating paddlers must follow the map and collect tokens at each stop. Collect all six tokens and return them to Canton Waterfront Park to get your event t-shirt. We encourage all paddlers to decorate their boats, boards or bodies in their most seafaring pirate gear. Yo ho ho! ā ļø
Before our paddling pirates begin their quest for treasure they will be treated to a pre-paddle breakfast sponsored by THB Bagelry & Deli with coffee from Orinoco Coffee & Tea. Then we will be joined by Hands on HIIT for a warm up session in Canton Waterfront Park. Once everyone is fed and warmed up, Ultimate Watersports will begin launching groups of paddlers in the Harbor. Money raised by the Floatilla will provide City students with environmental field trips, makeover dirty alleys, and help Mr. Trash Wheel and Prof. Trash Wheel keep hundreds of tons of trash out of the water.
Registration:
Early Bird: $35 (March 30th - May 3rd)
General: $40 (May 4th ā May 31st)
